Do you have a dream job ? I have one. Humm... I'm wishing I'm on the middle spot.

Sooner or later I must achieve my dream job.. next year is my first step (I hope) eventhough I'm not in game development business, but I'll try to convince my next bos to do some development in games for education especially simulation games.

Another MLM offer... yaiks

Just as being mention on the title, yes I got another offer from my ooooold friend about MLM business. And not like other techniques on MLM which they usually called us and arrange some meeting on a mall or other public places and also didn't give us any clue about what is the meeting is all about.

My friend called me and ask me to go to his home on 7 pm, but he didn't tell me why I must go to his house.. he just told me that he wanted to open some business, and wanted some help from me, so okay I think as a friend I should help him right ?

I came to his house @ 830pm because there some work @ office. Then he offered me to wait at his living room.. that's one thing that makes me more curious, why he let me wait ? then he came with few stranger and introduce me to them, one of them is a doctor (ex. doctor). Then they started to give some prospective to me about their product and their concept about MLM, huaaa....

I tried to control myself (because I thought it was really something important - just making me angry inside). I listen to them and their blablabla about the big money and other things. After an hour I give them smile and I said your product is very good and your concept is also good, and I said that I'll think about it because nothing's instant except noodles haha..

I also thought that I didn't want to ruin my relationship with my friend. Because many of my other friends broke their relationship because of this MLM business, so I just make some rejection with a little diplomacy.

So that's my story yesterday. I've been through it before hehe..

Time goes by so fast..

@ the end of December 2006, me and my friends(Ardi, Wende, Mul, Mamato, Yu) as usual each year goes to puncak.

We use alternative transporation like train from Jakarta to Bogor, then Angkot from Bogor to Cipanas Puncak.

Sunday evening - Kota Tua - alternative traveling

So a few weeks ago after I borrowed my friend's bike -0-, I decided to biking around Kota Tua teritory @ West Jakarta. Biking in the afternoon is quite nice, because less traffic & polution on the road. My first target was Sunda Kelapa port (http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunda_Kelapa ) near museum Bahari @ West Jakarta.

After arrived at Kota Tua, I asked the route to bike Ojek there about the route to Sunda Kelapa post because I've never been to there before.. and after he gave me direction.. the biking continued..

When I arrived at the gate of sunda kelapa's port, I met this group of Bule. I assumed they also want to visit this place. But when they entered the gate, the guard there asked them for entrance money - I thought it's free ?? because only cars/trucks must pay to enter this place. But when i came into the gate, the guards didn't asked me to pay. And I asked him, must I pay ? he said that it's free to enter this port, so where the money he just got go ? - to his pocket -_-.

After looking around the port, I noticed that there's no tree or any bushes there, everywhere is stone and bricks. And much worse that the water was so filthy. That's the bad part, the good part is there's still Pinishi boat, traditional boat created by Indonesian people used to sail accross the ocean (http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinisi).



After biking around the port and crossing museum Bahari about half an hour - the time was almost 6 pm - I turned my bike and continued biking to Fatahilah Museum..

My Bachelor Thesis application - Edugame - Geogame

This is the screenshots of the Geogame application that me and my bachelor thesis partner Hendy create. The game is about learning geography subject for K7 students. They can learn it online and collaborate with their friends realtime to solve geographical problem they found in the game such as measuring distance from 1 point to another point.

The point of our research was how to use the game to be a effective tool to gain attention of the student to learn and also play on the same time with their peers and teacher.

APICTA Indonesia 2006 - Merit - old news

Whoa.. what a great experience for me and my teammate Hendy Wijaya. We've won the second position (merit) in APICTA Indonesia at September 21, 2006 in the Student Tertiary category with the product name HHDEV Project : 3D MOeG(Multiplayer Online Education Game). It was so close to be a winner :) now we must prepare ourself to compete with other participant from Asia Pasifik in Macao 1-4 November 2006.
